God loves marriage! Soon after He created a beautiful world to place them in, He created the first couple, Adam and Eve. God’s plan was for them to love one another, provide each other companionship and support, co-labor together in His divine purposes for them, be fruitful and multiply, and of course, glorify Him in all. Through the ages, God’s perfect plan for marriages has not changed. Man has failed, but God’s intent and desire for this covenant has remained the same.
My husband Ron and I have celebrated our love and commitment to one another for over 40 years and oh, what a blessing it has been! I also love to witness the dynamics, joy and fulfillment between couples who have committed themselves to this covenant. But it burdens me deeply when I see husband and wife struggling in their marriage. Often they are godly individuals, yet they feel they are not able to resist the devil’s attack against them.
