Assault on America Week 12: Why elections still matter
26m
This final session gives unique insights that are different than anything you might be hearing in the news. Alex draws the comparison between Winston Churchill and Donald Trump. He shows how your future is directly tied to our nation’s direction. We have a home in heaven, but we also have the opportunity for blessing on this side of eternity.
A part of this work is intellectual preparation and political participation. Using concepts like natural law, self-evident truth, and apprehension, this session shows the gaps in the cultural relativism that’s so prevalent today. Instead of merely focusing on being politically correct, we need to return to realism. Truth exists, it can be known, and expressed in words.
In a society that makes truth entirely subjective and morality completely fluid, elections matter now more than ever. We need to elect candidates that believe in truth! Regardless of someone’s faith, it’s in everyone’s best interest to vote for or become government officials who dare to stand for objectivity and natural law. Amidst the rise of secularism, statism, and socialism, only one thing is sufficient to break the strangling stronghold of these entities: the power of Christ, working through believers!
