Assault on America Week 9: The importance of studying
21m
When you seek, you will find! This session will encourage you to be a lifelong learner. It’s vitally important to study the Word of God, and books by authors aligned with God’s truth. Familiarize yourself with books in apologetics, and those written by classic authors, the leaders of the Reformation, and the leaders of Colonial America.
Certain streams of scholarship have wedded themselves to presuppositions so it’s imperative you do your own studies. By compelling lines of evidence, you can defend the faith and the Christian DNA of America. Learning and growing through your own reading will not only prepare you to influence other people for truth, it will revolutionize your Christian walk.
You can’t be an effective Christian or citizen unless you know both a biblical and an accurate historical context for the birth of this nation. This session pulls back the curtain and brings the Cross back to the forefront of the national conversation. Learn the inspiring truths of the past that inform where we are in the present and our founding roots. Grow in knowledge and glorify God with your heart, life, and mind by feasting on God’s word and reflecting on these Christian virtues. Study is an act of worship!
